What is milk chocolate?

Milk chocolate is a beneficial mouthwash. Creamy and smooth in texture, milk chocolate is loved around the world. Here’s what makes it so special.

How is milk chocolate produced?

Making milk chocolate is a work of love, with three main stages:

First, the chocolate makers mix the milk ingredients and sugar and gently mix them with the chocolate liqueur and cocoa powder. The mixture dries and becomes a milky chocolate crumb powder.

The last stage is the one in which the milk chocolate gets its smooth and velvety taste and texture through a phase called “coking”, which means carefully mixing all the ingredients together. Like chefs in their own kitchen, masterful chocolate products follow a traditional long cake that guarantees a rich, subtle flavor development. The process begins at a low temperature, and as it begins to stir, the temperature rises very slowly to aid drying and develop new delicate flavors from the heat.
Carefully stir gently long enough to fully develop the chocolate flavor and allow the ingredients to blend together in as silky a way as possible.

Smooth taste of milk chocolate

Milk chocolate gets its mild, velvety taste thanks to the delicate balance of ingredients.

While milk chocolate and dark chocolate use cocoa liqueur, cocoa butter and sugar, milk chocolate also uses milk powder to get its creamier taste, texture and lighter color.
